Guide Signs - Conventional Road
Guide Signs - Conventional Road
Type A, retroreflective signs: Surface uses reflective film material, adhered to an aluminum alloy baseplate. It relies on vehicle headlights to produce reflected light, with a maximum visibility distance on clear nights (with higher-grade reflective film materials) of up to 395 ft.
Type B, panel display active illuminated signs: Surface uses reflective film material (transmittance > 25%), with an LED light source panel placed inside the box structure. Borders and connections are made of aluminum alloy profiles or stainless steel. They do not require vehicle headlights, with a clear nighttime visibility distance of > 660 ft. They can also be clearly visible when visibility is lower than 660 ft due to rain, fog, etc.
I-ROAD Technology offers two technical options to the market. The first option involves green or blue base plates for guiding signs that do not emit light autonomously; only text, patterns, and other informational content can emit light. There will be a high brightness contrast between the base plate and the text/graphic, making it easier to identify and read. The second option entails both the base plate and the text/graphic of the guiding sign emitting light autonomously, presenting the same colors as during the daytime. Both options feature an 8-level automatic dimming function and can produce large area signs ranging from 100 ft2 to 600 ft2, withstanding wind speeds exceeding 16 meters per second.
